Pricing and Commissions

Pricing

We require of our sellers and co-brokers a written property listing agreement detailing the property specifics, legal ownership details, and price/commission structure, among others. Our service is provided on a commission basis paid for by the seller on properties to which we introduce to the buyer.

Commissions

Commissions in the Republic of Panama are generally 5%, though as is the case in rural properties, a higher commission will be recognized to cover expenses for promoting remote properties. We welcome commissions splits with licensed co-brokers and have working relationships throughout the Republic of Panama with professional brokers who have, through previous experience, demonstrated product knowledge, market insight, punctuality, and professionalism.

The following are 3 of the most common examples of commission splits and our published policy with percentages for each party:

  • Direct Sale: Sellers Broker (100%)
  • Co-broker: Sellers Broker (50%), Buyers Broker (50%)
  • Co-broker with Intermediary Broker: Sellers Broker (40%), Buyers Broker (40%), Intermediary Broker (20%)
