Panama Builds Highway in Santa Isabel Cuango $19.5M

Panama City. Bidding for the study, design and construction of the road to Santa Isabel Cuango in Costa Arriba of Colon was awarded to a consortium Panama RPL-CSI to bid worth U.S. $ 19.5 million.

The evaluation committee scored with 98 points the proposed capital consortium with Venezuela and Panama.

Pathway will be built 26 kilometers with two bridges over rivers and Culebra Cuango which will accessibility to an area with beautiful beaches. Already planned investments for the region in excess of 50 million.

Already operating in the area marinas for yachts and the road is expected to attract other investors. The general manager of the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP), Salo Shamah said the road meets the Tourism Master Plan and that is a big step for the development of tourism in the Caribbean Panama.
